Volleyball Futures

Volleyball Futures supports the development of young players who aspire to play for England.

Futures Camps give young players the chance to experience an England National Team camp environment and find out what it is like to train like an England athlete.  They get the opportunity to work with England coaches and find out what is expected of an England athlete. They learn about the volleyball fundamentals how to practice them and why they are so important to get right to be a top volleyball player.

Volleyball Futures Camp

Booking is now open for the next Volleyball Futures camp for boys and girls born in years 2008/2009/2010.

England Trial

England Talent Pathway

The England Talent Pathway is for volleyball and beach volleyball and provides training and competition (national and international) opportunities in order to develop age group athletes. In volleyball there are two age groups: Cadet (U17) and Junior (U19). In beach volleyball there is one junior age group (U22).

England Talent Pathway athletes train all year round indoor or on the beach and are expected to be available for selection for international competitions.

Only athletes who are eligible to play for England can be part of the England Talent Pathway.  This means athletes must be able to demonstrate their citizenship with a birth certificate or British passport.

The next trials will take place at the National Volleyball Centre, Kettering in October 2023. We will be recruiting U19 athletes born 2006 and 2007, and U17 athletes born 2008, 2009, 2010 and younger.

Parents need to fill in the form for their child to be interested in the trials
