Is it suitable for juniors?

Yes, we cater for juniors from Age of 8 upwards.

I am just a beginner is this the right club for me?

We always welcome beginners be it juniors or adults and we have coaches that guide and help the new members at all stages.

Where are you located?

For indoors we have two venues to choose from Dewsbury and Bradford. We also do an indoor social at Huddersfield during summer.

Dewsbury - St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy, Oxford Rd, Dewsbury WF13 4LL

Bradford -  Dixon Kings Academy, Northside Rd Bradford  BD7 2AN

For outdoors during summer we are at Leeds Hyde Park, Wakefield Thorns Park, Bradford Lister Park, Huddersfield Greenhead Park

Do i have to Register can i not just turn up?

You need to be registered so we know how many turn up on the day and also the club insures all members.

I would like to play for a team, is that possible?

We have a mens team, a womens team, junior competitions and a mixed team which is ideal for developing players.

How much does it cost?

We prefer annual or monthly payment 

£25/m - 1 social session

£35/m - team training plus matches

£55/m - 1 social session 1 team training and matches

£70/m - 2 social sessions 1 team training and matches

pay per session £7 social

pay per session £10 team and £10 per match (cheaper to pay monthly)

When and what times are the sessions?

Monday - Bradford social 6:30-8pm

Tues - Dewsbury socials 6:30-8pm

Friday - Womens/Mens training 7-9pm

Sunday - Yorkshire league games

Saturday or Sunday Heyva games

What is HEYVA?

HEYVA is a league that is held in Hull and you just play games each month over the weekend mostly Saturday but be prepared to play Sunday. The cost is £50 for the season which is a bargain considering you play 8 games.

Is the social session mixed gender?

Yes, we prefer to make it all inclusive and we don't have enough hall time to make it separate.

Do the indoor facilities have toilets and changing rooms?

Yes both Dewsbury and Bradford have good facilities.

Do you have big posts and big net for team training?

At Dewsbury we have the expensive competition nets that can hold our nets.

For the socials at both venues we will be using the smaller water-based nets that goes between the badminton courts.

Does my data get deleted if i leave the club?

Yes, due to GDPR we remove all personal details from our database

Can i play for two different clubs?

You may attend social sessions but not team training if you already play for another team in the same league.
